Excel Service Application Fixes

Hi,

Things that required for Excel to work:

·         Service application association to the web application

·         Excel account should have db_owner permission to the database of the site collection where you are testing this service

·         And in site collection feature this feature should be active “SharePoint Enterprise site collection feature” and “Open Documents in Client Applications by Default” feature

·         Excel service should be started in the BI server

Finally if all pre-requisites are met then upload .xlsx workbook in the portal and try to access you should be able to open the workbook without any issues like shown below
