PowerPivot Service Application Fixes

Hi,

Things that required for Excel to work:

·         Service application association to the web application

·         PowerPivot account should have db_owner permission to the database of the site collection where you are testing this service

·         Excel service should be started in the BI server

·         Verify these services are started in BI server

ü  claims to windows to token service

ü  SQL Analysis service

ü  SQL PowerPivot Service

·         And in site collection feature this feature should be active “SharePoint Enterprise site collection feature” and “PowerPivot Feature Integration for Site Collections” feature

Finally if all pre-requisites are met then upload a workbook which has slicers in the portal and try to access you should be able to open the workbook without any issues like shown below and you should be able to selected different values and the graphs should change without page refresh.
